With an interesting history to its name, the Fair Grove city is a heritage reunion of sorts. In one of the worship meetings of the 19th century residents of this place, a discussion on the probabilities for a name had yielded Fair Grove which was derived from a Methodist church in Randolph County. The Fair Grove Heritage Reunion that takes place in September every year is worth a visit.
