    Justin Townes Earle is an Americana singer/songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. He is the son of noted musician Steve Earle and had an intensive musical upbringing. Getting his start playing with his father's backing band The Dukes, but simultaneously developing a serious drug addiction, Earle was fired from the band when his drug problems began interfering with his performances. After a couple overdoses, Earle finally sought rehab and began serioulsy focusing on music. His first album, 2007's Yuma, released on his own record label J-Trane, established Earle as a preeminent musician who isn't afraid to look to the past for musical influences.
