The East Tennessee Buccaneers represents the athletic programs and
intercollegiate teams of East Tennessee University in Johnson City, Tennessee. The school is a member of the NCAA's Division I and competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference. ETSU supports a number of men's and women's sports, including baseball, cross country and golf teams, though its most popular and successful programs are its basketball and football squads.
Lexington honors the birthday of native son and Confederate army hero, Stonewall Jackson, in grand style during this annual event. Sons of Confederate Veterans lead a parade through town before stopping to pay respects at his grave. The Stonewall Jackson House, a National Registered Landmark, jumps into the mood too by offering free tours of his former residence and displaying some of Jackson's personal possessions. Admission is free.

The Yellow Jackets is the name given to the sports teams that compete for the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Having gone through several names since joining the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association in 1895, including the Ramblin' Wreck, the Engineers, the Blacksmiths and the Golden Tornado, the teams have distinguished themselves in the NCAA Division I countless times over throughout their decades long history.
Scotty McCreery is a country singer from North Carolina whoreceivedhis big break when he won the tenth season of American Idol in 2011. Starting his musical pursuits while in high school by joining a vocalensemble, McCreery soonrealizedhis affinity for music. Singing countrytenor, McCreery soon began entering local talentcompetitionsand winning them--prompting him toauditionfor American Idol when it conducted atalentsearch near him. After winning, McCreery released his debut LP, Clear as Day, in 2011, a country-influenced pop album that managed to sell extremely well, earning platinum status in the United States.
