The private collection of I.S.K. Reeves and Sara W. Reeves contains historic bead-work, silver jewelry, masks and hair-dresses. Those pieces are featured in the exhibition Native American Art and Artifacts. The Native American belongings are from tribes from the Southwest and the Pacific Northwest.
The Anasazi (also called Pueblo) were prehistoric farmers from the Southwest's Four Corner area who created handmade ceramics with strikingly dynamic surfaces. The pottery, woven baskets with clay linings and moldings, bear surfaces with unique black-on-white designs. These designs, invented in the 8th Century, include different messages with particular social, ethnic and linguistic meaning.
