Showcasing baseball memorabilia from across North Carolina, this 3,328 square foot museum contains memorabilia from ball players that played in North Carolina such as Gaylord Perry, Catfish Hunter, and Hoyt Wilhelm.
Located in the historic Wilson Federal Courthouse that was built in 1928, this hands-on science and technology center features over 200 exhibits that are related to the environment, space, and health including the CP&L Mars Base and Tropical Trek. A museum gift store is also on site that offers unique science-related gifts and souvenirs.
Built in 1946 by Oliver Freeman, a noted local black stone mason, this popular tourist attraction is a round house that contains a museum with artifacts that depict the culture and contributions of African-Americans to the history and development of Wilson.
A "Hines Gallery" that offers monthly visual exhibits and performing arts programs which provide art education for people of all ages. Classes are available and special events are held here throughout the year.
